A Staten Island teen who pals said had been relentlessly tormented by bullies leaped to her death in front of a train yesterday as her classmates looked on in horror. The Huguenot Staten Island Railway station platform was packed with fellow students from Tottenville HS at around 3:15 when a sobbing Felicia Garcia suddenly broke away and jumped. 15-year-old Felicia Garcia from Staten Island, was tormented by bullies about alleged sexual encounters with football players. Felicia Garcia was said to have suffered a rough time growing up having her parents die at an early age and bouncing the around foster care system. This story is all too common in today’s society.

Felicia was reported to have constantly been bullied in school for her relationships with football players and Unfortunately, Felicia Garcia decided the bullying was too much.

During a school outing, Felicia was with classmates at the train station and as the speeding train approached, Felicia was stated to have said:
“Finally, it’s here” as she fell backwards onto the tracks.

Police are in contact with at two 17-year-old boys who allegedly took part in the bullying. The four football players involved were also interviewed. They are between the ages of 15 and 16. No charges are pending.

It is clear from reading Felicia’s tweets that she was not one who held back things she wanted to say and definitely seemed to be crying for help.

It seems that YouTube, Twitter and Facebook are an outlet for tormented teens. Maybe it’s time for one these companies who make billions off of them should maybe have an outreach program when suicidal tendencies are seen in their communication.

Bullies are cowards and if you witness bullying, do your part to end it.

“I can’t. I’m done. I give up.”

That’s what a bullied Staten Island teen posted on Twitter on Monday. Yesterday, 15-year-old Felicia Garcia jumped in front of a train as classmates watched. She was taken to a Staten Island University Hospital, where she died.

About 3:15 p.m. yesterday, Garcia and dozens of her classmates at Totternville High School were waiting at the Huguenot Staten Island Railway station platform when Garcia reportedly broke away from the group and threw herself in front of an oncoming train.

“She got bullied in the school, especially by the football players,
because she looked different and had piercings,” senior Amanda
Liquori tells the New York Post.

“She wouldn’t have done it if she wasn’t bullied,” another friend, Alissa
Compitello, wrote on Twitter. “All this girl wanted was to be left
alone. And nobody could do that for her.”

Garcia was a foster child.

friend, Gabriella Leone, whose younger sister was there when Garcia
jumped in front of the train, tells the Post that the girl “had a
terrible life on top of all
the heartache — bullies at school taunted her and spread rumors. I hope
all bullies get punished!”
